Creating Website Content

Most people are used to thinking about content in the form of either a brochure or a presentation. While these do share some elements with structuring a website, there are some key differences.

Firstly, with a presentation or brochure, there is a definite beginning, middle and end. You also know why people are reading your brochure or attending your presentation. On the web, your user may have come to you via Google or another search engine, which means there is a very good chance they have not arrived at your home page. With this in mind, how do you take them through your site to give them the information they need and encourage them to buy your products, call you up, listen to your music or any other goal you have in mind for them?
